Hi, my name is Gerard Robbertsen and I live in The Netherlands with my wife Yvonne and son Joshua. For the last 8 years I have been working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV - formerly known as Navision. Currently, I work for a company called Juicy Pear. I work there as a Lead Development Consultant. Main focus in this job is to help the customers with their development & technical issues. I enjoy getting the most out of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and try to take it literally to its max. Some projects I have worked on have had interfaces with other systems or products. In other projects I have taken certain key features out of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and moved them to Automation & SQL to improve performance without letting the user actually leave the Microsoft Dynamics NAV client. The results have been baffling. I discovered that when you use this SQL power wisely you can improve performance significantly and get the most out of your Microsoft Dynamics NAV database. Challenging the known boundaries of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is where I love to work. Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a great tool for end-users, but has a few draw backs for the developer. As mentioned before, I love to take Microsoft Dynamics NAV to its maximum capabilities and beyond. During the last few years I have spent some of my spare time on CodeGenius Studio. It all started as a startup tool for Microsoft Dynamics NAV - at that time it was still called Navision. Later on, I started working on the templates and CodeSmart. During this time CodeGenius Studio has really become more "mature". The GUI related part of CodeGenius Studio looks rather good and most importantly it works well.
I first introduced CodeGenius Studio in 2005 at several places I worked in The Netherlands and I was quite surprised how well it was received. After this, I decided to share CodeGenius Studio with the whole world. As time is going by new features are added. The current version of CodeGenius Studio was built from scratch in C# and the user interface was made to give you the best user experience.
