Great things are happening. Microsoft just released Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 and I am pleased to say that the Classic CSide Client works perfectly with CodeGenius Studio 4.0. That is great news! Now, of course I know it would be great if CodeGenius Studio would also be able to configure the Role Tailored Client. That will come. Probably next year I will introduce the new client type with CodeGenius Studio.

Now CodeGenius Studio is undergoing more changes. Firstly the sharing of Templates. This remains a challenge. I want to make it easy, but useful. It should not become a stand in the way. I therefore am not quite sure how I will achieve this yet. When I have more details on the subject I will get back to you. Please hold on! It really is coming!

As most of you know, CodeGenius Studio comes with CodeSmart. This code completion extension for C/AL has been available since version 2 of CodeGenius. However, it never could analyse code real time and suggest global and local variables. Hopefully this will come to an end soon. I am currently attempting to find a way to do this. So CodeSmart may become even smarter. I will keep you posted!

So far for now. It's been kind of hectic these last few weeks. However, I will keep you posted.

I have invested quite some time in selecting a CMS tool to get the most out of the web site. I think it really turned out very well. I personally like the way this new web site looks and I think it's a really good improvement.

Hopefully you all agree...

Most development work on CodeGenius Studio was on hold as I was selecting and implementing the new web site. Also a job change has put development on CodeGenius Studio hold for a while. Hopefully within the next few weeks I will continue development and release the next version of CodeGenius Studio. This will be a hotfix which will fix some minor issues that users have logged.
