CodeGenius Studio manages Microsoft Dynamics NAV clients and Microsoft Dynamics NAV configurations. You first select all client executables on your machine. A scan your computer option is available. If you have multiple instances of one version, CodeGenius Studio will recognize this and take use of this in a smart way. This will result in the fact that you do not have to think about what client you need to configure the database with.
When defining a configuration you select a version of one of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV clients you have configured. CodeGenius Studio will then know which executables are available to use with your configuration. When activating your configuration CodeGenius Studio checks if you have an available client executable and will the start your client. This will avoid those nasty messages telling you that you cannot connect to two databases locally with a certain executable. It will automatically switch to the other client, if available, and start. If no clients are available CodeGenius Studio will tell you and you can then take further action.
Another great feature in the client manager is that CodeGenius Studio will log you into Microsoft Dynamics NAV automatically. Just supply the username and password and when the configuration is started, CodeGenius Studio will automatically insert the username and password details in the login dialog. This makes your life even easier!
